On your first appointment, you will receive a thorough examination of your teeth, facial structure and jaw relations. We will take a series of radiographs, models of your teeth and photographs to assist the doctors in diagnosing and developing a personalized treatment plan. We pride ourselves in the fact that we have the most modern equipment available. We use video imaging, models and the most up-to-date radiographic equipment to help us with your case. The doctors will inform you of your orthodontic needs and will give you specific details of your personal treatment plan. Treatment time, costs and any questions you have will be discussed during this first visit. This appointment will be without charge to you and your family and will give you all the information you may need to make an informed decision.
Treatment
This is not a “one size fits all” treatment. We understand that each patient has different needs and aesthetic goals. We begin each treatment by consulting with you on the findings from your records and your goals for your treatment. We feel that these specialized treatment plans provide that extra, individual care we strive to provide for all our patients.
Follow-Up
Our treatment does not end once the braces are removed. A patient will wear retainers until the teeth are set in their new positions, and check-ups will continue throughout this phase. We feel we are better able to meet your retentive needs because our in-house laboratory and specially trained technicians fabricate all of our appliances.
State-of-the-Art Treatment
Our staff is dedicated to offering the most advanced treatment available. Everything from the Damon® System and Invisalign®, to orthopedic appliances, retainers, splints and various other appliances are available. If surgical orthodontics is needed to correct more severe skeletal discrepancies, the doctors will work closely with an oral surgeon to coordinate the procedure that is most effective for your needs. In addition to the most progressive orthodontic treatment, we try to make your time with us a pleasant experience with an upbeat, comfortable atmosphere. We are staffed by friendly, dedicated people who strive to make you feel not only welcomed, but also a part of our family. We are devoted in everything we do, and we want to create a fun and positive orthodontic experience for all of our patients. To assure a safe, clean environment for our patients, we follow the highest standards of sterilization. Our procedures are in accordance with the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Financial/Insurance Information
While orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical, and psychological well being of children and adults, we also realize that families and individuals have different financial needs and are in different financial situations. We are proud that we are able to offer in-office financial arrangements that are almost always flexible enough to allow our patients/parents to be able to afford orthodontic care.
We are also pleased to be able to accept assignment of insurance benefits, allowing our patients to make financial arrangements with our office on the uninsured (patient) portion of their orthodontic fee. Our Financial and Treatment Coordinators will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have regarding our fees and our financial arrangements.
